Annabelle geh\u00f6rte zu einer Gruppe von drei traumatisierten Elefanten, die im Juli 2015 von der Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) zur Rehabilitation und sp\u00e4teren Wiederauswilderung an die Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery \u00fcbergeben wurde. Annabelle ist sehr intelligent und neugierig und hat schon in ihren Nursery-Tagen den Spitznamen \u201eVermittlerin\u201c bekommen, eine wichtige Eigenschaft f\u00fcr eine k\u00fcnftige Matriarchin. Seit 2018 ist sie in der Auswilderungsstation Panda Masuie, wo sie sich liebevoll um die Kleinsten der Herde, wie z.B. Neuank\u00f6mmling Moses, k\u00fcmmert, wie ihr hier auf dem Foto sehen k\u00f6nnt.

Annabelle was one of a group of three traumatised elephants handed over to the Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) in July 2015 for rehabilitation and release back into the wild. Annabelle is a very intelligent and curious girl and was nicknamed „negotiator“ back in her Nursery days, an important characteristic for a future matriarch. Since 2018, she has been at the Panda Masuie release station where she lovingly cares for the smaller ones of the herd, like newbie Moses, as you can see in the photo here.
